Abstract

The present report presents some theoretical-practical considerations about the literacy process of children today and discusses the possibility of inserting pedagogical practices that are based on working with different languages of art in the classroom. Finding ways by means of education that guarantee decent learning conditions, understanding that there are individualities in each subject of law, is challenging when it is understood that education contributes to democratic and revolutionary power / being. We understand that man is a social being, so our theoretical foundations are based on Historical-Critical Pedagogy, on the contributions of Paulo Freire, on the studies of Magda Soares and Vygotsky, in addition to the contributions of art scholars Viola Spolin, Augusto Boal and Bertolt Brecht. We will present our experience with the theme of art as a source of intellectual development in Literacy and Literacy development. The text´s emphasis is on the structuring value of face-to-face education, despite the importance of new technologies.
